Auxiliary Program Decommissioned

The Calgary Police Service Auxiliary Program ran from 2013 to 2019 and gave young adults the opportunity to work alongside police officers and our civilian staff to learn valuable skills, gain work experience and get first-hand insights into policing.

The goal of the program was to mentor young people through part-time employment, so they are better prepared for careers in law enforcement or any other profession they pursue.

In April 2019, the program ended. While young adults can no longer learn about policing as an Auxiliary, there are still opportunities to gain insight into policing as a career:
